Test Systems → BrakeDAQ-Brake Testing System
The philosophy behind the design of BrakeDAQ® is simplicity, reliability and speed. A tap on the brake while the vehicle is in motion is all that is needed to initiate a data capture and the subsequent post-processing and display of relevant data. Automated noise source selectivity is achieved with a proprietary algorithm that matches each brake’s vibration features with interior noise features to define a brake self-noise event. The BrakeDAQ application is a LabVIEW based software application that provides and ideal tool for NVH Brake Testing, and Performance Brake Testing. We offer a free 30 day trial period for software evaluation (BrakeDAQ eval. download). Using a modular expandable USB Data Acquisition/Signal Conditioning platform the hardware easily allows the user to configure signal conditioning and channel input connectivity.
