LapDAQ data acquisition software has been specially designed to allow users to easily configure the application to fit their needs. The application GUI is based on a straightforward configuration format that contains all of the channel information for Analog Input, Counter, CAN, and OBDII channels in the main screen. LapDAQ features a configurable display for data logging. Indicators can be added, removed, resized, and placed anywhere on the screen. LapDAQ is designed for use with National Instruments data acquisition cards, and/or the Roush LapDAQ-M product line. LapDAQ Data Acquisition Software is offered as freeware and can be downloaded from our site free of charge.

LapDAQ has been specially designed to allow the user to easily configure, and customize the application to fit their needs. The software boasts a user configurable logging screen GUI. This allows the user to determine the GUI layout based on their preferences. The application features a straight forward configuration format that contains all of the channel information for Analog Input, CAN, Counter, and OBDII channels in the main screen. National Instruments DIADem is an available option that can be used for a post processing and report generation solution that does not share the similar row size limitations associated with using Microsoft Excel.

| Software, Drive TRACE (emissions and general route testing app) |
This applications is an add on feature to our lapDAQ software application. It allows the user to run test track emission drive trace routes while providing speed and duration information to the driver running the route. The application automatically records the data from the test and saves it to a .csv, or spreadsheet file. The software reads in the route information from a spreadsheet file that contains the drive trace route for the specific emissions test required. The software allows the user to use files formatted in MPH or KPH and the setup for the software typically only takes a few minutes. The following files are examples of files that can be used with this application: EPA FTP dynamometer driving cycle, Urban dynamometer driving cycle (UDDS), HWFET, HWYFET, Emissions Drive Cycles, FTP75, 75FTP, LA-4, 23 Cycle, FTP74 and more. The software (with the required hardware) can also use CAN data to provide the speed input from your vehicle bus to dramatically reduce instrumentation time and cost. Our LapDAQ-M hardware platform can provide Data Acquisition signal conditioning and up to two high speed CAN cards integrated into one easy to use unit.
This application is now included with the LapDAQ Software version 3.5.3 and does not need to be purchased separately.
